  • A claim must be submitted through rsvn@thelibrarysamui.com within 24 hours after making the reservation and at least 48 hours before arrival.
  • Please provide the URL where the lower rate was found.
  • Attach a screenshot showing the room type and lower rate.
  • We will contact you within 48 hours after receiving your claim.

How do I compare rooms & terms?

  • The Best Rate Guarantee is available only for the exact same room type.
  • Rates must have matching terms such as prepayment & cancellation policies, minimum stay requirements and booking lead time.

How do I compare rates?

  • Rates are compared in Thai Baht before taxes and service charge. In the event that the comparison is in a different currency, we will convert the competing rate into the local currency.
  • Best Rate Guarantee will not be applicable if the variation in the applicable rate is less than or equal to 2%.

Do I need a reservation first in order to submit a claim?

  • A confirmed reservation is required before a claim can be submitted.

This program does not apply to:

  • Taxes, gratuities and other charges that may apply during your stay.
  • Existing reservations not booked via direct email to rsvn@thelibrarysamui.com (including those made via the hotel website, Design Hotels, Marriott and other third-party websites and agents).
  • Hotel package rates which include a combination of accommodation, dining, airfares, local transfers, etc.
  • Unpublished or negotiated rates (membership, partnership and rewards programs, corporate discounts, negotiated rates, group or other rates that are not available to the general public).
  • Rates offered to direct mail or email solicitations by third-party websites and agents.
  • Rates which cannot be booked with instant confirmation.

Validity of claims:

  • Claims made under this program are not to be combined with other Best Rate Guarantee claims through Design Hotels and Marriott.
  • We reserve the right to withdraw and alter the terms of this document without notice.
